Great Program. Very easy to use and converts very quickly.

Smart converter is one hell of an app. For those of us out there that have old content or, content with missing meta data smart converter will more likely than not be able to pull down the metadata helping you to create an more comprehensive iTunes library. Then there’s the conversion profiles it includes. You name a device and file type and, they’ll likely be able convert it. I recently ran had the pleasure of misformatting my drive causing me to start from scratch. One of the first installations was smart converter!

Good and simple features that you would need most.

This app was fast. Really fast… But last update broke the final file copy process. Now, at 99% of convertion I start to wait. I’m talking about minutes here… for 1%… 99% takes seconds, 1% minutes. Giving 3 starts to what was a 5 star app, and will not change my rating until this copy slowness solved.

no support for subtitles (f.ex: Windows Latin 2) fix it. give us scrool list with options of code

Useful interface, wide range of preset formarts, very good quality of result, enough quick processing

You get what you pay for. There is an option to choose between different audio and subtitles tracks before conversion. And that was most importatne for me. Also, this app is fast.

This app was the ONLY remedy that allowed me to convert, save and share the video from my surveillance. The tech help from the surveillance system worked hard to help me, but only this app produced exactly the portable video files I needed. Worth the price.

This app does what it claims to do, does it quickly, and makes it simple in the process. I couldn’t be happier with the little money spent.

Not enough new features here that I can see to warrant purchasing it again. You will pay full price again as there is no upgrade path. If you already own this software you should consider sticking with an older version, I wish I had.

I was struggling to get my HD video files loaded onto our membership site until i realized their CDN wont serve full HD anyway. Smart Converter did a great job of converting them to a lower resolution so they were easy to upload. My only beef is they just list the conversion output by platform (e.g. Apple TV or iPad) rather than by resolution, so i had to run the conversion to see what resolution I actually wound up with. For those of us who are not techically deficient, more complete information about the output formats would be helpful!

So after a few hundred great uses I bought the Pro version and it also WAS working now it’s suddenly just sits there. Anything I put into it ANY video type (and I’ve tried them all) does not convert anymore. No new updates and no real support on their website but an FAQ. Any chance this is getting updated anytime soon?
